As a young child I often sat transfixed on the afternoon sunlight passing through the dangling crystal shapes of a lamp in our home – and so began a love of light and a keen interest on the unique ways light could present itself.  Seeing the flare of light as it interacted with the glass and the eventual prism of color that appeared on other surfaces within its reach, I understood that there was a whole world of colors hidden within.
