My early life was tempered by many influences, but none so consistent as the daily reminder of spirituality and the paramount responsibility I had to walk that divine path between good and evil.  I came to know the salvation of hope, honesty, kindness, and peace.  I also learned to guard against the temptations that would lead me away from those virtues.  Yet I never feared to venture into the dark forest seeking my return to the mountain, because I knew those virtues would not abandon me.
